Jake Vall-llobera, Director of Investments

Jake Vall-llobera is the Director of Investments at Gideon Strategic Partners. He works closely with Chief Investment Officer Erik Oros, helping him manage client portfolios by maximizing returns and tax efficiency. Jake is responsible for assisting Gideon management in sourcing deals for the private market sector, performing due diligence, and delivering customized asset management strategies tailored to the client's specific goals. He also provides insights to prospective customers on why Gideon's approach offers superior solutions regarding advantageous structuring options combined with efficient taxation protocols. 

Jake began his career with Gideon in 2022 while simultaneously attending Johns Hopkins University as an undergraduate student-athlete studying Economics and participating on the football team. After studying at the Carey School of Business in the MS in Finance program to maintain eligibility for his final football season, pursuing his vision of providing families with financial security, Jake took a sabbatical and devoted himself entirely to this noble cause.  

In his free time, Jake enjoys reading, exploring new cultures, and being a below-average player at golf and pickleball.
